Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage patterns, and session duration to help us improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide, maintain, and improve the PetCare app and its features.
To send you push notifications and reminders you configure (e.g., feeding times, medicine alerts).
To generate your weekly care reports and streak tracking.

3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). Pet care logs are primarily stored on your device and optionally synced to our secure cloud servers if you enable cloud backup.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with:

5. Push Notifications
PetCare sends reminders and alerts based on the schedules you set. You can manage notification preferences at any time through your device settings or within the app's Settings screen. Disabling notifications will stop reminder alerts but will not affect your stored data.
6. Children's Privacy
PetCare is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:
Access and download a copy of your personal data.
Correct inaccurate information in your account.
Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
Opt out of analytics data collection (in Settings → Privacy).
Export your pet's care history at any time.

8. Third-Party Services

Please read these Terms carefully before using PetCare. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the PetCare mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
2. Use of the App
PetCare grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to:
Use the App only for its intended purpose — tracking and managing pet care.
Provide accurate information when creating your account and pet profiles.
Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App.
Not use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
3. Account Registration
Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@petcareapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Medical Disclaimer
PetCare is a care-tracking and reminder tool only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian regarding your pet's health. Medication reminders in the App are based solely on schedules you set — we do not provide medical guidance. Never delay seeking veterinary care because of information in this App.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you enter into the App (pet names, photos, care logs, notes). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not claim ownership of your data. You can delete your content and account at any time.
6. Free & Premium Features
PetCare offers free features and may offer optional premium subscriptions or in-app purchases. Paid features will be clearly marked. Purchases are processed through Google Play and subject to Google's billing terms. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
7. Notifications & Reminders
PetCare sends reminders based on schedules you configure. While we strive for reliable notification delivery, we cannot guarantee notifications will always be delivered due to device settings, OS restrictions, or network conditions. You are responsible for confirming your pet's care independently.
8. Intellectual Property
The PetCare app, including its design, graphics, logos, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. The PetCare name and logo are our trademarks.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetCare and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
